Hi! My name is Jama Riley. I created Bloom Scholar Group and its Strategic Scholar Institute because I saw too many ambitious teens feeling overwhelmed rather than empowered.
My mission is to help your student bridge the gap between their hidden potential and the positioned success they deserve.
With a background in education and student success, I guide families through the pivotal high school years with a focus on self-discovery, strategy, and genuine growth, ensuring every student steps into their future with clarity and purpose.
Frequently Asked Questions

Bloom Scholar Group’s Strategic Summer Institute is designed for motivated high school students, especially rising juniors, and seniors, who want more clarity, confidence, and direction for their future.
What makes this different from other summer programs?
Many programs focus only on academics or surface-level enrichment. Bloom is different because it helps students understand themselves, strengthen how they learn, and make more intentional decisions about college, career, and life.
Is this for students who already know what they want to do?
Yes. It is valuable both for students who feel uncertain and for students who have goals but need deeper strategy, stronger self-awareness, and a clearer plan.
What will students leave with?
Students will leave with greater self-understanding, reflection tools, a plan for the next year of high school, SAT strategy for Reading & Writing section question types, a college list that fits, a resume, and more confidence in how to approach the next stage of high school and beyond.
How long is the program?
The program runs for 3 weeks with 3 weekly sessions (hybrid model) and guided activities/coaching sessions between meetings.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, payment plan options are available. Please schedule a call for details.
How do I know if this is a good fit for my child?
A parent interest call is the best next step. That conversation gives you space to ask questions, learn about the program, and determine whether Bloom’s Strategic Scholar Institute is the right match for your student.
